  1. Why do I receive a Runtime Error?

    The error you are receiving is most likely caused by attempting to run Adware Filter from an account that does not have Administrator priveleges. At this time Adware Filter can only be run from an Administrator account.

    To stop the interruptions of the scans while in the other user accounts, go to Options and uncheck the Background Scanning options. You will then need to choose when to go into an Admin account and run Adware Filter.
